OUR PREACHER

Our preacher is Joe Chesser. He and his wife, Areva, have been working with the Fruitland church since July 2003. Joe and Areva met while students at Crowley’s Ridge College, a Christian college in Paragould, Arkansas. After their marriage in 1968 Joe graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas (1970) and did graduate work at Harding University Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, Tennessee. Joe has been preaching full-time since 1970, serving churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota and Louisiana. He and Areva have also done mission work in Kenya, Guyana, Guatemala, Suriname, Costa Rica and Cambodia. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
